Prepared Remarks of FinCEN Director Jennifer Shasky Calvery at the Florida International Bankers Association Anti-Money Laundering Conference
Jennifer Shasky Calvery, Director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), provided a keynote address today at the Florida International Bankers Association's annual Anti-Money Laundering Conference, held in Miami, Florida. Her remarks illustrated FinCEN's most recent efforts to counter many high-profile and pressing threats. She also discussed potential new threats to the financial system, and described how FinCEN works to consider the needs and equities of all its stakeholders, including law enforcement, regulators, foreign financial intelligence units, industry, and the public.
