We've had our hands on the LG G Flex, the company's curved smartphone, coming to the UK in February 2014 with EE. It has some rather special features aside from that curved display.

LG is also gearing up for next year with a 105-inch UHD curved TV, with Samsung looking to match it. Stealing a march on other messaging services is WhatsApp, confirming 400 million active monthly users. If you're not a user, you should certainly check it out.

Finally, British Airways has confirmed that it will be letting customers use electronics during takeoff and landing. Tally ho!
