Twas the day before Christmas, when all through the internet, not a piece of tech news was stirring... well that's not strictly true. It might be time for festivities, but with a brand new year looming, it's no surprise to find LG and Samsung letting us know what's to come in 2014. 

There will be a lot more of this to come before we hit CES 2014, we're sure, but before then, you can add snow to your Android phone, or a Han Solo frozen in carbonite to your house. What more could you want?

Then there's the small matter of an update to the Galaxy Gear to improve notifcations, as well as the release of the jailbreak tool for iOS 7.
